Irish Crane & lifting has been operating in the crane business for over 40 years. Offering tower crane hire, crane services, transport, installation, repairs and overhauls as well industrial cranes such as electric hoists and overhead gantries. We are currently hiring for the following postions:

Crane Service Manager – Tallagh Dublin 24 

Job Description

The successful candidate would be responsible for directing and managing service operations to ensure a high standard of service for our clients, stick to company policies, ensure excellent level of environmental health and safety.

  • take service calls from customers and try to diagnose the issue as soon as possible
  • organise service technicians to attend to breakdowns
  • schedule planned and unplanned maintenance of all cranes (tower cranes, gantry cranes, hoists etc)
  • track stocks of spare parts and make stock requisitions
  • input values onto online asset management system
  • completion of paperwork prior to completion of works (method statements/risk assessments/ tool box talks etc)
  • tracking of completed and non completed work
  • response to emergency call outs when required
  • costing of service jobs for customer charge out as well internal costings
  • completion of reports on cranes after dismantle and prior to delivery to site
  • email reports, quotations, forms etc to customers and company management

Other skills and abilities

  • computer literate
  • knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word, excel and ability to learn in house asset management and sales software
  • Experience of service with cranes or similar a big advantage
  • Clean drivers license 
  • All training to be supplied. Work vehicle supplied for work purposes

The role is a full time, permanent position. The salary ranges between €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year depending on experience with opportunity for a yearly bonus which is performance dependant.
